Hill Times Published in Ottawa, this newspaper provides weekly "insider" coverage of what's happening in the Parliament of Canada. Policy Briefings highlight public policy issues which are currently being debated in the federal government. Each briefing includes interviews with Cabinet ministers and experts in the field.
Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP) An independent, nonprofit organization, this Canadian think tank provides links to its full text magazines and reports which analyze government policy. Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy This Wilfrid Laurier University research centre studies issues "pertaining to the creation, use and representation of public opinion in the policy process....The Institute monitors the practices and claims of the public opinion and interest group industries." This is a "non-partisan resource for the public analysis of Canadian policy issues." Information on sixteen different issues areas is collected and maintained in a database, searchable by issue topic or by keyword. Results are divided by authorship: government, academic, NGO or think tank.
