Gail Richardson
I have been in the business of administering, organizing, or delivering information in one way or another for the last 28 years. I have designed and taught word processing courses and written a manual on text processing under UNIX for the University of Toronto Computing Centre. I obtained my MLS at the University of Toronto in 1996 and immediately set up a small information services company offering web site and database design and maintenance; writing; editing; indexing and abstracting. Please see my web site at http://home.interhop.net/~grichardson/sgl/index.htm. I have also been working on contract as a librarian with the Halton Hills Public Library since May of 1998. At that time I joined the team of Walter Lewis, Geoff Cannon, and Brian Bell and we have been working on databases and web site design since then. I act as volunteer archivist and web site manager for the Milton Historical Society, have served a two-year term as Chair of my local high school council, and tutor advanced English students. I have two computers, two children, two dogs, two cats and one husband.
