Ron Davies

Ron Davies is Senior Systems Librarian at the International Labour Organization, a UN specialized agency in Geneva, Switzerland. From 1987 until this year, he was an independent information systems consultant with a diverse Canadian and international clientele, including the Canadian Depository Library Program, the International Development Research Centre, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Red Cross and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development as well as the ILO. He has been involved with information-sharing initiatives in the field of international development for over eight years, most recently in the development of an XML-based standard for exchanging information on development projects and programs.
